Two senior students from Holy Cross College, Jonathan Bachelor and Phil Robles II, presented their research at the Midwestern Psychological Association meeting in Chicago yesterday. Their poster, titled “I’m From the Government and I’m Here To Help: The Impact of Happiness and Well-Being on Receptiveness to Government Intervention,” was part of the Psychology Department’s new undergraduate research team program.
Bachelor and Robles were accompanied by Professors Doris and Hugh Van Auken. This marks the first time students from Holy Cross have presented at a major conference under this new program. In addition to their presentation, the students attended various scientific and poster sessions throughout the conference.
