Holy Cross College is pleased to announce that it is a sponsor of the National Eucharistic Congress held in Indianapolis from July 17-24. Joining many shared-mission partners representing Catholic higher education, Catholic publishing, and various apostolates as exhibitors during the Congress, Holy Cross will have a unique presence sharing its mission of educating hearts and minds and forming faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.
The first National Eucharistic Congress in 83 years, this pivotal moment in both American history and the Catholic Church in America will welcome tens of thousands of pilgrims from across the county for a week featuring dynamic sessions, reverent liturgies, Eucharistic processions, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, and frequent offerings of the Sacrament of Confession. A key feature of this Eucharistic Congress will be an Expo Hall featuring exhibits from key Catholic organizations around the country – including Holy Cross College. Pilgrims to the Eucharistic Congress will use this opportunity to learn more about mission of Holy Cross College, it’s fidelity to Jesus Christ and the Church, and its unique mission – rooted in the charism of the Congregation of Holy Cross – in educating hearts and minds to form saints today and saints for all eternity.
“We are honored for this opportunity of Holy Cross College having a presence at the National Eucharistic Congress.”, said President Marco J. Clark, “Through the daily celebration of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, regular First Friday Devotions, and frequent opportunities for Adoration in our Saint Joseph Chapel – centrally located on our campus – Holy Cross College seeks to form young Eucharistic disciples who will bring hope and healing to the world.”
Representatives from Holy Cross College will have an active presence at the Eucharistic Congress and in the Expo Hall throughout the week. All alumni, students, families, and friends of Holy Cross College are invited and encouraged to visit the Holy Cross table and to share their encounters on social media.
