We recognize and value diversity among our students, accommodating a broad spectrum of needs, interests, and backgrounds with a supportive environment. All students are valued members of our community, and we strive to provide the same access to programs and activities to students with disabilities.
Students with diagnosed physical or learning disabilities, or attention disorders, may need academic accommodations to increase the likelihood of academic success. Here are a few important things to remember:
- To obtain help, students must specify the kinds of accommodations they’re requesting and provide documentation to verify disabilities and their severities.
- If submitting a prior evaluation, full documentation completed within the past three years is required.
- This material will be kept confidential and will only be utilized in determining students’ eligibility for services and the level of services required.
Please refer to the Guidebook and the Request for Accommodations Form for more information.
Requesting Testing Accommodations Outside of the Classroom
Students approved for testing accommodations who would like to test outside of the classroom must sign up one week in advance through this link.
If you have questions or need assistance, please stop by to see me or email me at [email protected]. Time is needed to coordinate obtaining the test and test instructions from the faculty member and to ensure proper space in the testing room.
