Dear Members of the Holy Cross College Family,

As we witness the devastating wildfires impacting Southern California, our hearts are heavy with concern for all those affected. Many in our Holy Cross community—friends, families, alumni, and benefactors—call this area home. I had the good fortune of meeting with many of these community members in their homes this past fall, and it is with them especially in mind that I write to you now.

We pray for the safety of those in harm’s way, for the first responders working tirelessly to protect lives and property, and for healing and recovery for all affected by these tragic events.

If you or someone you know in the region needs support, please be assured of my prayers and those of the entire Holy Cross community. If you are a current student whose family members are impacted by the fires and you are concerned about returning for the Spring semester, please contact your advisor or the registrar (574-239-8401).

Let us unite in prayer and continue to uplift those facing these trials, living out the values of faith, hope, and love that define our Holy Cross community.

Ave Crux, Spes Unica,

Dr. Marco J. Clark
