Holy Cross College is excited to share Tim Cleaver is switching roles from Residence Hall Director to Counselor in the Office of Admissions!
“In this role, I will be walking with students and families on their journey of college admissions. I will be telling people about the great things that Holy Cross College has to offer and how being a SAINT is a unique college experience! My role will take me on High School visits specifically in the Southern United States, Michigan, and Indianapolis. It is an exciting role and one that I look forward to representing the College well,” said Cleaver.
Hailing from South Bend, Indiana, he received a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from the University of Evansville and a Master of Arts in Theology from the University of Notre Dame. After spending 6 years in Tampa, Florida, working at a Catholic parish as a volunteer coordinator, he came back to the Midwest to work as a Resident Hall Director on campus.
“I learned to love Holy Cross- its mission, people, and students and wanted to continue working at the College as my Hall Director role came to an end. That this what led me to the Admissions role,” notes Cleaver. “As an Admission Counselor, I serve and walk with others on their college admission journey. I help them find a good fit for their college choice and help them see that Holy Cross College is a unique and great place to call home during their college career.”
In his new position, he hopes to continue helping others learn about all the great things Holy Cross College has to offer.
“In my role as Admissions Counselor, I want to be able to increase our scope as related to who knows about Holy Cross College and thus increase our admissions office outreach. Helping to create a culture where Holy Cross becomes a more desirable and plausible option for new students is also something that I would like to accomplish here at Holy Cross College,” said Cleaver.
