Esto Vir (Latin: Be a man) Men’s Ministry was established Fall 2021. It is offered twice a month through the Office of Campus Ministry and is led by a core team of students. On Sunday nights after the 7:30 p.m. College Mass, young men meet in the lounge of Pulte Hall for a night consisting of:
- A talk on one of the natural virtues
- Small group discussion and prayer
- “Man tips” in which topics are discussed such as: how to jump a car, how to tie a bowtie, dressing for success, and tips for good study habits
- Night Prayer
- Food and fraternity
Esto Vir has been well-received with many young men from the College coming to be formed and to grow in friendship with one another. This past Sunday, Brother Pierre-Evenn de Fremond de la Merveillere, C.S.C. gave a talk on the virtue of studiousness to a large group of students – including admitted students visiting the College.
