Holy Cross College Plays Host to Regional ICI Presidents

NOTRE DAME, IN (August 26, 2011) - Holy Cross College recently played host to the presidents of area Independent Colleges of Indiana (ICI) member institutions as they gathered to discuss strategic planning and legislative initiative matters.  The ICI is a nonprofit corporation representing, supporting, and advancing  Indiana 's 31 independent, nonprofit, regionally-accredited colleges and universities.

During the summer months ICI executives, President Richard Ludwick, Executive Vice President, Tony Maidenberg, and Executive Director of Collaborative Services, Robert Hodge, made a point of holding regional meetings with all member college and universities to address issues relevant to higher learning.

College presidents who attended the meeting agreed that the most important role of ICI is to ensure that students have the opportunity to include among their options for higher education in the state the 31 diverse independent colleges in Indiana.

Brother John Paige, C.S.C., President of Holy Cross College stated, "I am happy to welcome our college-president colleagues to campus, and to help foster the great service of the ICI to the independent colleges of our state."
