Holy Cross College Welcomes Christine O'Brien
Christine O'Brien of Osceola, Indiana has assumed the new position of Admissions Operations Manager at Holy Cross College. In this role, she will manage and analyze data in the admissions department as Holy Cross continues to grow its enrollment.
"Today's college admissions departments are highly competitive operations," said Marie Bensman, Holy Cross Dean of Admissions. Tracking, analyzing, and managing these communications is a job for an experienced professional like Chris. We feel very lucky to have her on our staff," Bensman continued.
O'Brien comes to Holy Cross after over 20 years in student affairs and academic affairs leadership with the University of Illinois at Chicago and Davenport University. Most recently she served as the Director of Academic Services for the Indiana locations of Davenport.
Originally from Anderson, Indiana, Chris attended Indiana University where she earned a B.S. and M.S.Ed. Today, she lives with her husband and two daughters in Osceola where she has been active at Christ the King Parish as a Religious Education Catechist. She is also Vice President of the Kiwanis Club of South Bend and coordinates the club's annual Dictionary Project, which provides a dictionary to every third grader in the South Bend Community Schools.
