Liz Borger  brings to the College's Board extensive experience in the areas of finance, marketing, and strategic planning. Ms. Borger received a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Notre Dame and a master's degree in business from Northwestern University.

During her professional career, Liz Borger has held a number of key positions with the Inland Steel Company of Chicago, including manager of the galvanized and aluminized steels product lines, manager of commercial and industrial marketing, and finally, a leadership position in development of corporate strategy initiatives.  After 14 years with Inland Steel, Borger went on to hold the position of Senior Vice President - Investments with Wells Fargo Advisors.  She has 20 years of experience in the financial industry and was a member of the elite Premier Advisors Group which pools from the company's more than 15,000 advisors worldwide.

Liz has received a Woman of the Year Award from the regional YWCA and the inaugural Woman of the Year award from the Elkhart Chamber of Commerce.  However, Liz's greatest honor was to serve as the Personal Representative for the estate of the late David Gundlach -- a man whom she feels reflects the entrepreneurial spirit of Elkhart, and in his generosity left behind a transformation gift to his home town.
