Basketball Camp

Come in for a week of the fundamentals of basketball!

Boys and Girls
Ages 8-14 years

June 17-21, 2013

9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Enrollment Fee - $100 per session

Your child will have the opportunity to work with Holy Cross College women's basketball coach, Aimee Niespodziany and new men's basketball coach Mike McBride , along with Holy Cross basketball players, during a week-long camp taking kids through the basics of basketball.

Your child will receive instruction on shooting, ball handling, passing, defensive technique, and much more!

Through contests and relay races, each child will experience a week of competition, combined with fun!

Aimee Niespodziany

Holy Cross College Women's Head Basketball Coach

Coach Litka, a former St. Joseph's High School standout, led the Indians to a state championship and was selected Third Team All-State during her senior season. That same year she was also selected First Team All-Northern Indiana Conference and was an Indiana All-Star. Before starting her collegiate career at Valparaiso University she set the St. Joseph's all-time scoring mark with 1,698 points and career record for steals.

Mike McBride

Coach McBride joins the Saints after most recently completing his fifth season as the Associate Head Coach at Tusculum College in Greenville, Tennessee where he helped guide the Pioneers to finish in the top half of the South Atlantic Conference standings, including back-to-back runner-up finishes in the league in 2008-09 and again in 2009-10.

Prior to Tusculum, McBride spent three seasons at Indiana University Southeast where he helped the Grenadiers to a 78-22 combined record, including two seasons where IUS finished the year national ranked.

The Jeffersonville, Ind. native played his collegiate career at Marian College, where he was an All-Conference standout (1995-96) and was twice named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches Honors Court (1994-96). The 1996 Marian graduate lettered three seasons with the Knights.
